In the past two years, TEAM Multi-Academy Trust has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from five to eight primary schools. This expansion reflects our commitment to broadening our reach and impact within the educational landscape. To support this growth effectively and maintain our high standards of education and care, we have significantly enhanced the capacity and capabilities of our school improvement team and central support services.

Director of Education

Recognising the need for strategic leadership in educational excellence, we have appointed a Director of Education. This role is pivotal in guiding our schools towards achieving outstanding educational outcomes, ensuring that every child receives the highest quality of education aligned with our ethos of 'Life, Love, and Learning to the Full'.

Enhanced SEND and Pastoral Support

Understanding the diverse needs of our students, we have expanded our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Pastoral teams. This includes the addition of specialist SEND coordinators (SENDCos) and pastoral workers dedicated to supporting our schools, particularly in rural settings. At Pilton Bluecoat Academy, a dedicated pastoral team has been established, offering targeted support and fostering a nurturing environment for all students.

Expanded Premises Team

To ensure our schools provide safe, welcoming, and well-maintained learning environments, we have doubled our premises team. This expansion enhances our ability to maintain and improve school facilities, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our students and staff.

Strengthened Central Team

Our central team has seen significant growth, with the addition of a finance assistant to support the Trust Business Manager and Bursar. This expansion strengthens our financial management capabilities, ensuring resources are optimally allocated to support educational excellence across the Trust. Furthermore, the appointment of a dedicated HR professional enhances our ability to attract, support, and develop the highest calibre of staff, central to our success and the success of our students.
